You're welcome for Christmas in Nuala!

I'm delighted to announce that the latest Inspector de Silva mystery, Christmas in Nuala, is now available to buy in Kindle from Amazon or to download free with Kindle Unlimited. (Just click on the image in the side-bar to reach the Amazon page.)

Perfect for fans of Golden Age mysteries, it's an intriguing and colourful short read for the holiday season.

The little town of Nuala is full of Christmas good cheer, until a brutal murder overshadows the festivities. The mystery he needs to solve baffles Inspector de Silva. It’s just as well he has his wife Jane to support him in his race both to unmask the villain and save an endangered romance. This colourful series set in Ceylon in the 1930s is perfect for fans of Golden Age mysteries, and Christmas in Nuala makes a great short read for the holiday season.

  2. Is christmas in Nuala available in print? My aunt loves this series but I can't find it online in print (she doesn't do Kindle!). Thanks.

  3. Dear Sandra, I’m afraid not as it’s a short read and wouldn’t work well in print form. Several other readers have asked me the same question, and If they don’t use Kindle but do have an iPad or tablet of any other kind, I’ve suggested they download the Kindle app which is free then read on that. Personally, I’ve come to prefer it to Kindle. With the larger screen, you can have a double page and it feels more like reading a proper book. I hope this helps, and I’m so glad your aunt enjoys the series. Best wishes to you both, Harriet

  4. Thank you so much for the response. It's my aunt's 95th birthday and she can't manipulate screens well because of her arthritis -- but since it's short, we can read it to her. She'll be thrilled to have heard from her favorite author! Blessings...
